Here's something you probably didn't know about Aladdin
Aladdin has quite the fanbase among both males and females these days. However, many of you may not know this, but when it was first released it was a unique departure for Disney for their recent years. With the success of The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast on their heels, Aladdin was different. The film during those days was targeted more at males than females as an action fantasy-adventure, rather than a princess fairytale. As much as this would confuse you as to why I would say this, it was because the Disney Princess franchise had not yet existed and Aladdin himself was the main character, seen not as a prince charming, but as an action hero for children.
